The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Success, has expressed concern over the lifestyle choices of fast-rising TikTok star and content creator, Habeeb Hazmat, popularly known as Peller.

Ossai, in a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, faulted the influencer’s decision to spend huge sums on luxury properties while seemingly neglecting his education. The aide noted that Peller’s recent purchase of a multimillion-naira mansion in Lagos, reportedly valued at ₦350 million, has sparked debates on social media about priorities among young celebrities.

According to him, Peller’s advisers and management should take greater responsibility in guiding the teenager toward building a sustainable future. Ossai lamented that buying houses and cars at such a young age without securing proper education could mislead other youths and limit long-term growth.

“The young man is talented, but he is still very young. He should be in school focusing on education while pursuing his career,” Ossai said. “Those managing him are failing him by allowing him to take such decisions. The fame and money are good, but without knowledge, the future is shaky.”

He further appealed to Peller’s handlers to redirect his resources toward education, adding that the pressure to achieve quick wealth has already made many Nigerian youths abandon schooling in search of short-term success.

Peller, who has millions of followers online, has previously admitted that some of his content is often misinterpreted. He had also apologized to fans in the past, promising to be more responsible with his online presence. Despite this, his latest purchase has reignited public conversation about the clash between wealth, fame, and education in Nigeria’s entertainment space.

The criticism reflects wider concerns about the growing trend of young influencers prioritizing luxury lifestyles over academic advancement. Observers argue that while success at a young age is commendable, education remains a foundation for long-term opportunities and should not be neglected.

As debates continue, Ossai’s remarks have fueled calls for better mentorship for young entertainers navigating fame, wealth, and personal development.

Summary: Delta State Governor’s aide, Ossai Success, has openly criticized TikTok star Peller for buying a ₦350m mansion instead of focusing on education. He urged the influencer’s handlers to prioritize his academics, stressing that fame and money without knowledge could jeopardize long-term success.
